GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ has obtained the Administrative Authorization for the construction of a 39.76 MWp PV project in the municipality of Bonete – Albacete, Spain.

Last October 11th, the General Directorate of Industry, Energy and Mining of Castilla La Mancha region granted the society of the group, FOTOVOLTAICA CAMPANARIO I S.L., the Prior Administrative and Construction Authorization for the photovoltaic installation called “Campanario I” of a total installed power of 39.76MWp. Covering an extension of 70 Ha, is foreseen the installation of 116,910 modules of 340 Wp mounted on horizontal single 1-axis trackers and 9 power stations.

The works are scheduled to start in January 2019, with a duration of 6 months.

The power evacuation scheme will be executed jointly with ACS-Cobra, including the construction of two substations, the collector ST “Bonete Sur” -30/132 kV-, and the ST “Campanario Renovables” -132/400 kV- in which the largest ABB transformer in Spain will be installed. The total distance to the connection point is 3.4 Km.

The purpose of this project is the production of electrical energy and its feeding into the grid network by selling it to the free market, expecting an estimated annual production of 80,181 MWh/year and a saving of CO2 emission of 29,185 Tn/year.

With this project, GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ begins its expansion plan to get a portfolio of up to 500MW PV projects developed in Spain in the next 24 months.
