Following the energization of the GRIJOTA I (51.9 MWp) and GRIJOTA II (52.9 MWp) solar plants in August 2025, at GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ we continue moving forward in the province of Palencia.
On Monday, March 16, we carried out the energization of the HERRERA III solar plant, located in Herrera de Pisuerga.
HERRERA III reaches a peak capacity of 33.1 MWp, covering an area of 58.94 hectares. Its estimated annual production is 62,364,000 kWh, enough energy to supply more than 19,100 homes, while reducing emissions by the equivalent of 49,712 tonnes of CO₂ every year.
Meanwhile, HERRERA II (52.2 MWp), located in Prádanos de Ojeda and Dehesa de Romanos, achieved Mechanical Completion in December 2025 and will be energized during this year.
With this, at GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ we now manage the operation and maintenance of GRIJOTA I, GRIJOTA II and HERRERA III in the province of Palencia, while continuing to move forward with the work required for the energization of HERRERA II.
