GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ GETS THE CONSTRUCTION PERMIT FOR THE PINATAR PLANT (102.9 MWp) IN MURCIA

GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ’s latest milestone was to attain Ready to Build status (works licence) for the PINATAR plant located between the towns of San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar (Murcia).

This new plant is estimated to have a 102.9 MWp capacity and will consist of more than 145,000 modules using HJT technology supported by a single-axis tracker system, located in a 177 hectare area.

In building and developing our PVPPs, we aim to work with towns to attain the goals and achievements of a sustainable environmental energy policy.

The PV PINATAR is scheduled to start construction in the first quarter of 2024 with its Commercial Operation Date (COD) slated for early 2025. It has been estimated that it will employ around 300 people in addition to the usual Grupo Zaragozá work teams in Construction (EPC) and Maintenance (O&M) areas.
