GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ STARTS WORK ON THE GRIJOTA I SOLAR PLANT (50 MW) LOCATED IN BECERRIL DE CAMPOS (PALENCIA)

GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ began work on the GRIJOTA I solar plant located between the towns of Becerril de Campos, Villaumbrales and San Cebrián de Campos (Palencia). Works are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.

The plant will have a 51.8 MWp capacity, generating more than 94,488 MWh per year, avoiding approximately 75,318.90 Tn/year of CO2 being emitted into the atmosphere.

This plant will have more than 75,000 HJT technology modules mounted on a single-axis tracker structure distributed over a 78.54 hectare area. The GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ team has designed an installation that aims to keep occupation as minimal as possible, including only the strictly necessary, permeable fencing, so as to protect fauna in the area.

Furthermore, the plant is expected to generate up to 200 indirect jobs during its construction and at least seven direct jobs in the EPC and Maintenance areas.
