This plant has an installed capacity of 49.97 MWp and has been producing clean, inexhaustible, environmentally friendly energy since 27 April 2023.<\/p>\n
The plant\u2019s total surface area is 86.439 hectares, equivalent to approximately 96 football fields, and is located in Torrejoncillo del Rey, in the province of Cuenca.<\/p>\n
Villanueva I has 77,664 bifacial solar modules of 640 and 645 Wp, which are installed on solar trackers.<\/p>\n
It is estimated that this plant will generate around 101,902 MWh of energy per year and will save 81,228.80 tonnes of CO\u2082, which is equivalent to a potential saving of up to 2,843,008 tonnes of CO\u2082 over its 35-year lifetime.<\/p>\n
