In maintenance service our goal is to keep facilities operating under optimal conditions 365 days a year. To do so, we monitor production on a daily basis, carry out preventive maintenance and repair work and provide close surveillance, extending the service life of equipment, improving safety and reducing repair operations cost.

The following are the preventive maintenance activities we carry out for photovoltaic systems. These are only explanatory activities and they are not exhaustive, as they are strictly dependent on the technical characteristics of installed components

PRODUCTION CONTROL

GRUPO ZARAGOZÁ owns a remote monitoring centre in its offices with computers and dedicated staff members for continuous reading of the data transmitted by the plants. This constant monitoring allows to detect any faults or malfunctions and to assess the type of intervention.

In case of all minor works, solutions will be carried out promptly as preventive maintenance, on the other hand, the Customer will be promptly notified in case it is necessary to resort to a corrective action and he will be supported with the best solution.

MODULES CLEANING AND CHECKING

Module cleaning is necessary to avoid an extended storage of dirt on the enhancing surfaces. The cleaning will be carried out with a high pressure softened water cleaner, avoiding the use of abrasive products.

Moreover, module inspection during the cleaning phases will be done in order to detect cracks, leaks, or other decay faults.

SYSTEM CONTROL AND ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENTS

It is to check good conditions of wiring, inverters, panels, guards and in general all electrical equipment, carrying out a thorough cleaning and inspection to detect either any wear and tear damages or any seal faults. In addition, all contacts will be tightened.

All electrical equipment will be tested to ensure proper operation and performance. Connection and disconnection system adjustments, voltage and current measurements in the circuits boxes and electrical tabulated values for inverters and electrical equipment will be carried out.

In case of faults, overheating, buzzing, prompt actions will be taken in accordance either with the provider’s manual instructions or technical service. Moreover, the Customer will be provided with a report of the measured values and interventions carried out.

CABIN CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

To be verified good conditions of cabins, by noticing cracks, damages or leaks on the exterior walls, the roof and the window frames. We will proceed with replacing filters of ventilation grills, controlling general extractor cleaning and ensuring internal order and functionality.

SAFETY SYSTEM AND FENCE CONTROL

Survey of security system proper functioning and fence conditions prevents tampering.

Checks of image quality from the cameras under low light and dark will be carried out. In addition, responsiveness of the alarm system in case of intrusion will be tested.

Finally, fence condition will be verified.

GREASING, TIGHTENING AND GALVANIZING

Lubrication of all equipment moving parts and tightening of screws in the fixed parts will be carried out. These operations are extremely important for the good work of tracking systems and, as to static structures, they can prevent situations of mechanical wear.

Galvanizing to prevent corrosion will be restored where necessary.

VEGETATION CONTROL

Growth control of vegetation avoids shading situations and prevents fire risks. Operations are done manually and with tools such as hoes, scissors, lawnmower, etc.

PIPE AND PIT CONTROL

Pipe and pit inspection is necessary in order to verify their integrity and tight sealing, in order to avoid a water seepage.

EXTINGUISHER REVIEW

Fire extinguisher periodic review is carried out by specialized and certified companies. Zaragozá Group is responsible for revision planning, fire extinguisher delivery and withdrawal to the certified companies and for temporary replacement of fire extinguishers under review.
